The University of Waterloo Accounting Conference strives for excellence and helping undergraduate students launch their careers in the Accounting industry with our conference and events.
With the cancellation of our in-person conference, we continued to deliver the UWAC experience to all delegates through our virtual events. From UWAC Launch to our very first virtual UWAC conference, we successfully delivered valuable experiences to our delegates to help support their professional development.
UWAC Launch
Our keynote speaker for UWAC 2020 Launch is Dillon Mendes (@dillon_mendes) who is an alumnus of Top 35 under 35 global changemaker awards, co-founder of the social enterprise, PickWaste (@pickwaste), and a TEDx & youth speaker. On top of all of this, he has completed two co-op terms at Deloitte as a Risk Advisory Analyst and is currently interning at DarwinAI.
UWAC 2020 Conference
For the 15th annual case conference, UWAC held its very first virtual conference, gathering students from over seven different universities across Canada. This year’s conference featured an accounting and strategy case competition, interactive workshops, networking opportunities, and numerous prizes!
