When will UWAC 2017 be taking place?

UWAC 2017 will be taking place from April 28-30, 2017.The conference will take place over the course of three days in downtown Toronto.

Who can attend UWAC?

We welcome any university or college student who has an interest in accounting, finance, or business to register for our conference. This isn’t just an accounting conference; we cover topics that are important for everyone!

What are the food options at the conference?
Delegates will have the opportunity to choose between regular and vegetarian meals and to specify dietary restrictions prior to arrival.
Can I apply individually?
Of course! You will have the opportunity to meet a number of new faces!
When can I choose my team?
We take pride in creating a collaborative environment and encourage delegates to work with new individuals. As such, your team will be chosen randomly to maximize the real world experience you will gain at the conference.
Where do I stay during UWAC?

Your delegate fee covers an all-inclusive stay at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Toronto. This includes all meals, a room for two nights, and transportation between venues.

Can I opt out of the hotel during the conference?
Unfortunately, delegates are not permitted to opt out of the hotel and refunds will not be issued in this regard. All delegates are expected to stay at the Hyatt Regency on both Friday and Saturday night. If alternate arrangements need to be made, please contact a coordinator as soon as possible.
How do I choose my roommates?
During registration, you will be given the option to select a roommate of the same gender.
How many roommates can I select?
Each delegate can select one roommate, of the same gender, that he or she would like to room with. Two pairs of roommates will be grouped together so that delegates have the opportunity to meet one another. Keep in mind that you do not need to select a roommate – you’ll get to meet more people!
What if I don’t have a roommate?
Don’t worry, if you do not have someone you want to room with, we will gladly pair you up with someone else.
What is a Paypal Processing Fee?
For every transaction, Paypal charges a fee of 2.9% + $0.30. This fee is added to the cost of the conference when you are prompted to pay. This fee is non-refundable.
Why am I asked to indicate workshop preferences during registration?
UWAC offers 5 different workshops hosted by a number of different firms. These workshops run concurrently, so delegates must choose which 3 they would like to attend. While we cannot guarantee that all choices will be fulfilled, we will do our best to match you with your indicated preferences.
What is the refund policy of UWAC 2017?
UWAC strives to accommodate refunds, as long as they are requested in a timely manner. We offer a full refund of $285 if a request is communicated prior to January 31, 2017. A half refund of $142.50 will be available until March 15. After this date, we are unable to grant any refunds.
